All I ever wanted was

For a pair of hands

To hold me when I am stranded.

For a pair of eyes

To look into my eyes

To assure me everything was going to be nice.

For a pair of ears

To hear my tears

When the world turned deaf ears.

For a pair of feet

To stand with my feat

When others stood away from it.

For a voice

 To tell me I’m there for you

Whenever I’m clouded by the blue.

All I ever wanted was

For a man to love me

For what I wanna be.

For a warm lips

To awaken me

When I die within me.

For a heart

To beat with mine

With every step of mine.

For Two souls with one heart

But alas that is what is hard to find.
