I want to be a kid again

I want to be a kid again,
To laugh, to play and run free in the rain.
To see and enjoy life with what is given,
To love everybody, like some and hate none.
To chase the butterfly and the lovely sun,
To talk to tree birds and bees.

I want to be a kid again,
To cry without feeling ashamed of any.
To laugh uncontrollably and unconditionally,
To touch and feel the beauty in the unseen.
To listen to the unheard and unknown,
To feel wet sand against bare feet.

I want to be a kid again,
To fall  back without feeling miserable.
To open my heart without being forced to,
To answer all without being prejudiced.
To talk freely to the eagerly awaiting ears,
To be honest without being asked.

I want to be a kid again,
To cherish value of every relationship.
To hold caring each hand with the other,
To never let go off the sight of each other.
To simply eat, share and pray together,
To remain always together forever.

I want to be a kid again,
To be unafraid of the ways of the world.
To carry innocence all the way across,
To hold on to all things dear and precious.
To be generous to those who need it all,
To have the same sweet smile for all.
