They will have their hands
Outstretched for you
If they ever find you
Standing at the end of the cliff
They are no bloodline,
No next of kin nor dear brother Jim
Just some strangers you meet
On the street or in the rain
Folks mighty as the ox
Strong as a rock, sharp as the fox
They poke as they pin,
trust is a hard thing to win
Some sigh, some stay high,
Others just say a long kiss goodbye
Down the road, up the hill,
They would ride with you to hell
Ride the journey with them
On many a horses or bikes
Whatever is that you can find
To reach the finish line
Help comes from the most
Unexpected of places and people
Call them angels, guardians
Outstretched for you
If they ever find you
Standing at the end of the cliff
They are no bloodline,
No next of kin nor dear brother Jim
Just some strangers you meet
On the street or in the rain
Folks mighty as the ox
Strong as a rock, sharp as the fox
They poke as they pin,
trust is a hard thing to win
Some sigh, some stay high,
Others just say a long kiss goodbye
Down the road, up the hill,
They would ride with you to hell
Ride the journey with them
On many a horses or bikes
Whatever is that you can find
To reach the finish line
Help comes from the most
Unexpected of places and people
Call them angels, guardians
Or miracles of nature
You can just call them
All or just 'the others'
