Urban Harvest: #11

On the bed lay all my stuff except for the syringes, they were gone. Damn.
“Oh Debbie you are not going to find them there. They had to confisticate it. I must say it was a good choice, two lethal doses in one. Pretty smart.”
“What do you want Will?”
“Why don’t you get dressed? I will be back in ten.”
.............................................................................................

I heard the door lock from the outside. I got dressed real quick and searched for anything that could help me fight. There was nothing.
I heard the door unlock. William held the door open for me. He led me to my lab. It felt like I was seeing it for the first time.
.............................................................................................
As I settled into the slightly uncomfortable chair, I noticed blood samples that had my name written all over. Each came with a date. I cringed at the thought of William experimenting with my blood. That explained all the dots on my right hand. I noticed a shiny piece of metal lying hidden nearby. On closer inspection it turned out to be a scalpel. I quickly hid it in my sleeve. His laptop was on.
Without wasting any time I logged into the programme “Quarantine”. I prayed that he had not changed the password. He could be back in any second. I typed furiously. Entering answers after answers. And then I hit initiate. I turned the laptop away from his direct view. Only few minutes remained.
.............................................................................................
I sat down as if nothing had happened.
Will returned carrying a file under his arms.  I went through it slowly trying to process each and every word.
.............................................................................................

“So what do you think?” he asked me caressing my chin.
